Stitch
Stitch is in many ways an archetypal Monster, the large, protruding nose, jutting teeth, and elaborate (though heterogenous) horns. This resting facial expression is also typical of specimens, what we unofficially describe as “the friendly side of grumpy”. Also typically, Stitch is a highly sociable Monster, seen frequently at gatherings moving from group to group with welcome ease.
Stitch is one of the very first Monsters we ever found and, truth be told, the whole reason our organization was able to raise funding for our Monstrumological research. By serendipitous circumstance Stitch nearly identically resembled a dear childhood friend of the chairperson for the grant committee, whose respected and influential opinion championed our project’s approval. We like Stitch a lot.
